Poem

From the heart of the ocean
There splashed out
The crimson twilight of Dawn
Scattered over the sky
To quench the thirst of grumpy darkness.....
Thickets,the blanket of Lady Earth
Which grew fainter and pale
Got patches and cracks,
groaned in deep pain
The plights of feathers and leaves
Swayed in grieving air
The trickling liquid beneath the Vale
Stared in rage and grief
at the bright light that broke
All at once,they gazed the sun
In pale faces of soggy dreams
like a mother who lost her son
Sighs and dead looks ....
uttered again....
'Will that day come?'

SONG OF THE STREAM

I am the trickling tears of hills
Flowing down to the meadows
touching gently the soil

I dodge lill' branches
Which tried to block me
I spread fragrance that drenches
the Fairy-like flowers

Hey look my friends,
I am the pretty daughter of Nature
who lull me always and nurture

I sleep in the lap of Spring
When plants and flowers dazzle
And at times,
I stare with wonder at merciful clouds
who gleam in the sky and drizzle

I am the joy of chirping birds
And the sorrow of steep hillocks
I get adorned  with snow flakes
In the chilling dawn of Winter

I fades with the darts of
naughty sun
During the time of summer....

നിദ്രാദേവിയെന്നെ പൂകവെ ‍ഞാന്‍

കണ്ടൊരു സ്വപ്നം

എന്റെ നിദ്രയെനിക്കുസമ്മാനിച്ചതാണാ

സ്വപ്നം

വിണ്ണിലെ പറവകള്‍ മണ്ണിലെത്തി

മണ്ണിലെ മനുഷ്യര്‍ വിണ്ണിലെത്തി

മേഘത്തുണ്ടുകള്‍ താഴെയെത്തി

മഞ്ഞിന്‍കട്ടകള്‍ മേലെയെത്തി

മഴത്തുള്ളികള്‍ മേല്‍പ്പോട്ടോടി

ഫാക്ടറിക്കുഴലുകള്‍ കീഴ്പോട്ടായി

അരുവികളെല്ലാം മേല്പോട്ടൊഴുകി

മാനുഷരെല്ലാം ഭൂമിയെക്കൊന്നിട്ട്

മറ്റു ഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ പൂകിടുന്നു

മാനുഷര്‍ സൂര്യന്റെ അരികിലെത്തും

മുന്‍പാരോവന്നെന്റെ നിദ്രയെക്കൊന്നു!

സുഖ-ദുഃഖപൂര്‍ണ്ണമീ ജീവിതം.

ദൈവം തന്‍ കരങ്ങളില്‍ കോര്‍ക്കും

ചരടില്‍ കിടന്നാടുന്നു നാം.

ഭൂമി ഒരു നാടകവേദി.

ഒരു ചരടില്‍ നിസ്സഹായരായി നാം

ആടിത്തിമിര്‍ക്കുന്നു ഈ പാവക്കൂത്ത്.

ജനിക്കുന്നു മരിക്കുന്നു നാം.

കരയുന്നു ചിരിക്കുന്നു നാം.

നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു നാം.

അന്ത്യം, നശിച്ചൊടുങ്ങുന്നു നാം.

ദൈവത്തിന്‍ നാടിതു കേരളം

കായലോളത്തില്‍ നീന്തിത്തുടിക്കും

ഭാരതസംസ്കാരം കേരളം

പുതുമണ്ണിന്‍ സുഗന്ധംതേടും

കര്‍ഷകത്തനിമതന്‍ കേര‍ളം

പ്രകൃതിതന്‍ സൗന്ദര്യലഹരിയില്‍

മയങ്ങും മലയാളക്കരയിതു കേരളം

വിദേശജനകോടികളുടെ മനസ്സില്‍

വിടരും സ്വപ്നം കേരളം

ഭാരതമാതാവിന്‍ തിരുപാദം

അലങ്കരിക്കും കേരളം

ഒരു പുണ്യഭൂവിതു കേരളം!

वो आँखें

वो आँखें

चाँदनी भरी रात मेंं,

मैंने देखा दो आँखें।

ज़िंदगी की राह में,

मेरी नज़र पड़ी सिर्फ उसमें।

बहुत चाहा उसी आँखों को,

अपनी ज़िंदगी की राह में ।

पर वो दूर चली गई मुझसे,

मुझे अकेला छोड़के।
